RP: The Meeting Between Mafia and Bratva

[Raven Tepes]

Alessandro was inspecting the his container ships at the port in London and inspecting containers of medication bound for poor nations in Africa. He has had his pulse on London for a while thanks to his connections, like Teresa Mendoza, and has learned who key players are. He spends the morning inspecting cargo and overseeing the loading of special cargo.. mafia cargo. Then a text message comes in over his phone.

Confidential Informant: "There is a major Russian crime lord in town. Possibly friends with other local crime syndicate, Black Sun."

Alessandro raises an eyebrow at the text message and grins. His Russian is a bit rusty but conversationally functional. He could use ties in Russia. He could also use more allies in London. He decides to send a message back to his contact. Alessandro: "Set up an appointment with this Russian crime lord. Also invite anyone important that he is around. My London office near downtown at 8:00 AM."

Confidential Informant: "Consider it done."

Meanwhile at Black Sun, a nervous man who has heard rumors of both Kendrix and Hei leaves a message with the guards address to Milos. The man leaves quicker than the guards can ask questions. The message reads as follows in Russian.

Message: "To the leader of Bratva and his ally the leader of Black Sun:
                  You are cordially invited to have a morning meeting with
                  Mr. Alessandro Moretti at his downtown office at 8 AM sharp.
                  Please wear appropriate business attire."

The message then ends with an address for a business office building, Moretti Pharmaceuticals, in the downtown area.

Kendrix: Who the hell is this guy, telling me I have to wear a business suit?! He says bitterly. I wear what I want, when I want!

Milos: Can you not just make yourself look part? I've seen you change your clothes with shapeshifting before.

Kendrix: Yeah, but that's not the point! This guy can't tell me what to do! He says to Milos.

Hei: Well, deal with it, kid. We're going and we're going to be respectful. We need all the allies we can get. And showing respect makes a good start to negotiations.

Kendrix: Then bring Mom (Alice Rynn) along too. Shouldn't we all be there?

Hei sighs. Hei: Your mom doesn't have the patience for this kind of thing. She prefers to beat people up rather than talk nice to people. I don't want to appear like we don't want to be there.

Milos smiles and holds out a bottle of Russian vodka. Milos: Which is why I am bringing this along so we toast if things go well.

This was the scene when Kendrix, Hei and Milos were talking about going to see Alessandro.



Later.

Hei, Kendrix and Milos all show up wearing suits for the appointment. Hei was wearing a standard black suit, while Kendrix was wearing a red suit. He was uncomfortable having to change his look, but he went along with it. And Milos was wearing a white suit with a black shirt.

Milos: See. You can look nice. He says jokingly.

Kendrix: Yeah... At least I can wear a nice devilish color. And I do look good in red. He says jokingly with a smile.

Milos smiles and takes out a cigarette.

But before Milos can light it, Kendrix pulls the cigarette out of his mouth and throws it into the trash.

Milos looks at Kendrix surprised.

Milos: What is your problem, little man? He says to Kendrix angrily.

Kendrix: No smoking! Kendrix says sternly as he points to the "No smoking sign."

Outside, the building is a renovated historical building with five floors. Inside is an eclectic mix of historical and modern. There is a receptionist desk right after the main entrance with two brightly smiling women and one security guard. There is also a man in suit with a clipboard talking to one of the receptionists.

While Kendrix and Milos were having their moment, Hei goes over to the receptionist.

Hei: We have an appointment with a Mr. Alessandro Moretti. I believe it's under Milos Sojikov, but it might be under Black Sun or the Bratva as well. He says to them.

The receptionist gives Hei a polite yet warm smile. Receptionist: Yes, sir. Give me just one moment. She then types in Milos Sojikov into the computer along with both Black Sun and Bratva and begins her search. Receptionist: Ah yes. I have a Mr. Milos Sojikov and associates right here in our systems, sir. She looks up to Hei with the same smile. Receptionist: Take the elevator to the third floor. Make a left then right down the next hallway and Mr. Moretti's office is on the left. It says Moretti Industries Inc. on the door.

A security guard patrolling the outside gives Kendrix and Milos a look but keeps walking.
