RP: How many a*sholes we got on this ship, anyhow?

It was another day for Zeph and Tara, with a lot of things going on thanks to all the alternates and time travel incidents going around.

However, one thing was different...

Deep in storage, a sample of blood had started to stir. A sample of blood from a timeline that was now erased. Originally, the blood was thought to belong to someone who was thought to be immune to the Scarlet Mist infections. The idea was to find a cure before the Scarlet Mist would be released in the current timeline so that infects like Scarlet Fever would not be able to cause problems should the Scarlet Mist be released.

That blood... That blood had started to stir.

The blood starts to expand and darkness seems to sprout and form a humanoid shape.

As the room fills with a corrosive black mist, it would set off alarms as some of the black mist energy started to form a shape. The black mist seemed to corrode the room's structure, eating away the tables and beakers laying around.

That shape?

That shape took the form of Alucard... But not an Alucard from the London timeline...

This Alucard was from the distant future of Kendrix's timeline. Most don't know that this Alucard's blood sample had come from the distant future after Kendrix and Donny left, and that this Alucard had overcome his insanity on his own. And spent time with Zelpharia in the future long ago.

And this Alucard was confused...

Future Alucard: Where am I? He says as he starts to wander around, not sure where he was. How strange... I feel like I recognize this place. He says, being familiar with Tara, but not knowing that Tara's appearance had changed during the Cyberman incident.

[Raven Tepes]

Tara is awoken by sensors alerting her to the damage in the laboratory. She quickly forms a holographic image of her new chosen face. Tara: Oh for the love of the gods! I just regenerated everything inside of myself, and you go an... She trails off as she realizes that she’s now talking to Future Alucard. She does a quick scan of his temporal signature and grows even more shocked. This is definitely Future Alucard just with more temporal energy from the ship. Tara: Al.. Alucard? Is it you?

Fast asleep in her bed, Zelpharia was taking her monthly nap. She's suddenly woken up by an alarm from the sensors reading the damage in the laboratory. She bolts up right in bed and quickly gets up. Zelpharia then grabs a robe to cover her pajamas as she looks up where the damage is in the ship. Zelpharia: Tara, what is going on? Tara?? She's not answering. This isn't good. Zelpharia says with concern in her voice. She then looks to Kindron. Zelpharia: Kindron, wake up. Something is wrong in my laboratory. She says to him as she wakes him up.

Future Alucard turns as Tara. At first he was going to try and explain how he must have put out more energy in his regeneration than normal when it seemed like Tara was going to go off about the tables, but he gets a curious look on his face when she refers to him by name. Alucard tilts his head a bit. Alucard: Your voice... Is that you, Tara? You look different. He says to Tara.

Kindron gets up, falling out of bed. He yawns as he climbs to his feet. Kindron: I'm up. He says faintly as he tries to fully wake himself up to respond to what was going on. Kindron was not good at waking up quickly.

[Raven Tepes]

Tara gives Future Alucard a bright smile as it's been a long time since she seen him last. Tara: I had gotten damaged in a recent fight and was forced to regenerate. I figured with a new interior that I should change my holographic appearance as well. Is it alright? Not too cute? I was afraid of going to cute like an anime. Tara says with a questioning look.

Zelpharia gives Kindron a soft smile and helps him to his feet as he stands up. She tends to forget that not everyone can wake up instantly like a Time Lord. Zelpharia: Easy, Kindron. I didn't mean to startle you awake. There's just a damage alarm going off for my laboratory on the ship. Zelpharia says as she steps back and picks up her sonic screwdriver from off the night stand. She then walks over to a console on the wall and shuts off the alarm. Zelpharia: Are you good to go with me to check it out, love?

Alucard thinks for a moment, rubbing his chin as he thinks. Alucard: It is a rather cute form. Whether it's too cute, I couldn't say. I'm not a good judge when it comes to that sort of thing.

Hearing that the lab alarms were going off makes Kindron brain snap awake as he snaps up and is ready to go to the lab. Kindron: Labs? Alarm? He gets up. He starts getting deja vu of how Slade Wilson broke into his lab and beat up him, Akiba and Flynn. The circumstances made Kindron wonder if Slade was gonna show up again. How secure is your lab? You think someone might have broken in? He says as he summons his sword just in case.

[Raven Tepes]

Tara: I should've expected that. You are Mister Moody. Tara says teasingly to Future Alucard. She then realizes that the alarms were still going off and that would wake up Zelpharia and Kindron. She decides to turn off the alarms. Tara: Oh my.. I do believe Zelpharia and Kindron will be here soon. This is going to be awkward to explain on both sides.

Zelpharia: If someone broke into my TARDIS means that they got past Torchwood security which isn't good. Zelpharia says more thoughtfully than worried with her voice being on the verge of impressed as she walks to the door. She pauses a moment as the alarms go silent which increases her curiosity. Zelpharia: If someone broke, then a big question is why did Tara deactivate the alarms. One of my experiments must have self-destructed. Let's go check to be make sure nothing is on fire still. She then opens the bedroom door and walks out to head towards the her lab. Luckily it's not that far down the hallway.

[Zorbak the Ebil Moglin]

Alucard: I suppose so. He says in response to Tara calling him Mr. Moody. Wait, so Kindron is still alive? He says, remembering how Kindron was one of the ones he had killed when he lost control and killed everyone at Hellsing in the future timeline.

Kindron nods and follows her. Kindron: Yeah, I thought Hellsing security would keep out intruders but my lab still got broken into. I just want to be ready. I don't feel like getting my a*s kicked again. He says sarcastically as he walks with Zelpharia.

[Raven Tepes]

Tara: Oh this will be a fun explanation, but you are in the early 21st century, Alucard. So of course Kindron is still alive as you're in the past. Tara then gets a thoughtful look as she's not sure how much she should tell Alucard before Zelpharia and Kindron arrives. This isn't Iron City. You're actually in Cardiff, Wales, at the Torchwood Institute. Also I'm not the only one who has undergone a regeneration change. Zelpharia has also regenerated so she will look different.

Zelpharia leads them four doors down to the right. She talks as they quickly walk along. Zelpharia: Trust me. I fully understand. This could be one of those occasions where someone might have been so bold and somehow is threatening Tara. Zelpharia shivers a bit at the thought of anyone being able to threaten Tara into doing anything as they reach the laboratory door. Zelpharia places her hand on the doorhandle and takes a deep breath as she prepares for the worst.

Alucard turns to Tara, surprised at the explanation. Alucard: We're in the past... He says, processing the situation. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised since Zelpharia is a time traveler. I guess her looking different is something I should expect with her being a time lord. I always knew that there was a chance she might change one day. He then turns. I assume we're in a time before I destroyed Hellsing if Kindron is still alive. He says, a bit nostalgic at the chance to see Hellsing's members again like Integra, Walter and Kindron. His mind then also shifts over to Karasu/Raven, who he had killed in his timeline in his madness. As he thinks about Raven, he goes silent and just looks at his hand as though remembering the blood of everyone at Hellsing being on his hands.

Kindron nods. Kindron: Well, if something is going on, then I'm ready to fight. He says as he gets ready to run in as Zeph gets ready to open the door.

[Raven Tepes]

Tara: Oh yes. We're definitely in a time before you destroyed Hellsing. Tara says with a sympathetic smile and tone of voice. She, like Zelpharia, remembers the Scarlet Mist incident very well. Now how to tell Alucard that Kendrix stopped the Scarlet Sisters and erased the future time line that Future Alucard is from. Tara: There is something that I should tell you about your timeline.

Zelpharia: Very well. I'll let you be the first one to go through the door. Zelpharia says to Kindron with a comforted smile. She then opens the door to her laboratory and steps aside so Kindron can go through to ensure that there's no trouble.

[Zorbak the Ebil Moglin]

Kindron nods as he readies his sword, ready to draw it as he enters the room in one quick motion. He was ready to draw his sword instantly, but lowers his sword as he sees Alucard. Kindron: Alucard? What are you doing here? Kindron says, completely confused. He looks at Alucard for a moment, sensing his presence. Something's different... Are you... our Alucard? He says simply.

Alucard looks over. Alucard: You feel like... But what's with the holy power? He says as he recognizes Kindron's presence but doesn't know anything about this version of Kindron and how Kindron had purified himself during the incidents with the darklings, something that didn't happen in the original timeline before the incidents at Hellsing.

[Raven Tepes]

Zelpharia is quick to walk into the laboratory when she hears both Alucard and Kindron. She pulls up Tara's scans on her wrist computer and almost drops her jaw as the most improbable event possible has happened. Iron City Alucard was definitely here but with a little extra temporal energy from long exposure to the TARDIS. Zelpharia: There is a very, very good explanation for this, Alucard and Kindron. She then looks to Tara. Zelpharia: You didn't tell Alucard yet, have you?

Tara: I haven't gotten that far yet, Zelpharia. She says with a smile as she looks to Zelpharia.

Zelpharia: Okay. Then I shall explain. This is our Alucard from a future beyond the Scarlet Mist era. A future that Kendrix completely erased when he came back in time and stopped the Scarlet Sisters. She says to both Kindron and Alucard. She then looks around at the damage. Zelpharia: How this future Alucard got here from a future that no longer exists is now the big question. She then land on the refrigerator that once held blood samples and other temperature sensitive material and her eyes light up. Zelpharia: And I think Alucard regenerated from a blood sample I took during my time in Iron City prior to Kendrix's changes. She then looks to Alucard. Zelpharia: I am Zelpharia of course.

Future Alucard: Zelpharia... I like the new look. Alucard says after he listens to Zelpharia's explanation. Alucard: Kendrix... That was Hei Darkfire's son, the one that was always hanging out with Delsin's son (Future Donny), yes? I see...  Some things make a bit more sense now. He thinks. The last thing I remember was vanishing. I was helping a friend and then everything just went black in an instant. There was no pain, no time to process. And then I regenerated and woke up here. He explains. He then sighs. I can't even go back for my motorcycle, can I?

Kindron: So... This is the Alucard that went crazy? He says, trying to process everything. How did he... un-crazy himself? Kendra said her and D don't even know how Alucard supposedly returned to himself in the original timeline since there was no record other than one day he just disappeared.

Alucard just glances over to Kindron as he answers Kindron's question. Alucard: I don't think I've actually told the story to Zelpharia or anyone else in our time, but I suppose I should explain what happened... I basically had to kill souls within me. Not real souls, but the projections of the power within me created by the lives of the blood of others I've taken over the years. I'm not as skilled with projecting into my mind as the Darkfires are, but I was able to start killing the lives within me to track down the source of the power that overwhelmed me. It became harder every time I killed more people, as even more souls got mixed in.  Since I was essentially trapped in my own head unable to control my body, I had nothing else to do but learn to access my own mind. Eventually, I found the artificial "soul" that was the source of that amplifying power that made me lose control, created by the artificial blood that you created in our timeline. After I killed that "soul" and released the source of that essence, I managed to regain my mental faculties, and I then bled myself of all the souls I absorbed so that I could make sure that artificial blood was fully out of me. It took years... But after over a 100 years, I finally prevailed and managed to return to myself. And after I stopped hunting humans, the humans started working on technology to stop the Scarlet Mist. Which they eventually did develop technology to absorb and contain the mist. He explains.

[Raven Tepes]

Zelpharia: That explains why I never found any true immunities to the Scarlet Mist in your blood. Zelpharia says with a thoughtful look after listening to Alucard's story. Zelpharia: I thought your coming back to sanity was some sort of immunity to the Scarlet Mist, but it wasn't the immunity that I was looking for. At least now I know how you return to sanity which makes me feel better. She then looks to Kindron. Zelpharia: We should remember that artificial blood might create an artificial soul, K. She then thinks for a moment. Zelpharia: We'll also have to remember that exposure to the temporal energy of Tara could cause spontaneous regeneration in would should have been inert blood.

Tara falls silent as she listens to and records everything that Future Alucard says. Tara is amazed by Alucard's story but not fully surprised. She had faith that Alucard was strong enough to overcome such a problem.

Alucard: I always assumed I was never affected by it since I was already a monster. After all, I doubt I could be turned into a demonic vampire if I already am one. He says with a shrug when Zelpharia mentions not finding any immunities.

Kindron shrugs. Kindron: I can't say I know much about what the old artificial blood formula did to people. I only know that Kendrix told me the original food formula amplified the powers of supernaturals, and what it did to Alucard. So I made a new formula that didn't do that so it would be safe for everyone. I was storing the original information on it at Hellsing... He then gets a quiet, annoyed tone. At least before that Slade guy broke into Hellsing and stole all of my information and samples on it. He says under his breath.
